It's fix-it Friday over at I Heart Faces. Here's what I came up with.
I opened the photo in ACR and did basic tweaking to correct the exposure. I warmed it up, because that's how I roll. The pole and the power box were kind of distracting, so I *tried*to clone them out. It was pretty much a hack job, but it was practice, and the good news is I can only get better. On the first one I ran Coffeeshop's Butterscotch Vintage action at around 50%. On the second one, I did a mixture of Coffeeshop's Creamy Chocolate Black and White, and Coffeeshop's Sun Kissed.
Some random pictures from the past week. I am clearly not on top of things. I have an SBing session to blog, but I don't have time right now. Definitely by the end of the weekend. Having an almost toddler is going to be the death of me.
I took these during the past week, but didn't upload them because they were part of Calin's Fathers Day gift. I didn't want to ruin the surprise! He loved them.
I also know I've been majorly slacking on my blog posts. I've still been taking a photo a day, but I got behind on my blogging. I'll do a catch-up post later, but I probably will just post my favourites from the past week or two, since I can't be bothered to post one from every single day. Then I'll try to stay more on top of things.
Today we went looking at garage sales for a vintage high chair to do Moses' cake smash pictures in for his first birthday. We want to do them outside, so we think a wooden chair would look better. Unfortunately, we didn't have any luck. We did, however, find a See N Say for 25 cents. I'm so glad the amount of plastic, noisy crap we have in our house is increasing by the minute. Moses loves it though :)
We got Moses his big boy bed today. I know he's not quite one, but we found a great price at a second hand children's boutique, so we just decided to go for it. It's a train bed, and the front is a real working headlight! Moses figured out how to turn it on in about five minutes flat. He won't be sleeping in the bed for awhile, but at least we have it.
