June 10

Some photos of Moses wreaking havoc this morning.

I did NOT use an action on this. All me, baby!

And here's one from yesterday:

June 7: Sunset Drive

We took a drive at sunset tonight to go get dinner.

May 31: Mmmmelon

Yeah, it's noisy. My ISO had to be through the roof to get the lighting right.

Edited to add:
I kind of hated the edit on the above picture, and even though its just a snapshot it was bothering me, so I re-did it. And here's a couple others from yesterday.

May 24: Shoot for the Moon

ISO 400, 1/400, f 5.6, hand held

May 21: 10 Month Pics

Day 126, May 8: Rainy Day Blues

A little action happy, here. I promise I won't become one of those people who uses an action on everything, but this was fun. I'll quit it once they lose their novelty. A lot of these are blended combinations of different ones, but they are all by Coffeeshop.

We went to get coffee and go sit by the lake.
Butterscotch vintage turned down to 60% opacity. I think there's also a little S-curve pop.

Soft + Dreamy plus Squeaky Clean.

We saw this Seagull through the car window.

A mix of butterscotch vintage and the sunkissed action.

I don't remember what this one is.

S-Curve Pop.

Soft+ Dreamy, with some of the layers turned down. I think there's some Squeaky Clean in there too.

Moody Pop, with the vignette turned off and turned down to 40% opacity.

I'm not sure exactly what this is a combination of.

Sunkissed and Butterscoth Vintage. This is my favourite combination for this photo.

This is Classic Black and White + Bittersweet Vintage, with Vintage turned down and the high key turned up.

Moody Pop, adjusted.

May 4, Day 122: Squirrels and Jewels

Today my macro lens filters came. I have a real macro lens on my wishlist, but until then these will do! I didn't have a lot of time to practice between studying and taking care of Moses, but I did manage to snap a couple pictures of my ring.

To compare, here's a shot a took with my 50 mm lens without the filter.

I also snapped this picture of a squirrel outside in a tree, using my telephoto lens (without a macro filter).

Day 120: I heart Diners

Day 119:

April 28 (Day 116): Blue Eyed Boy

My husband has very blue eyes.

And this is what he looks like when he's being silly with Moses.

April 27: Waterless bath

We went to visit my mom today. And I put Moses in the tub in the bathroom there, because our bathroom gets ZERO natural light but theirs has lots of big windows. Moses had fun at first, but then he decided that being in a tub without water was kind of dull, and demanded to get out. I also got a photo of this really pretty conch shell that I think has gone from house to hosue with them ever since I was a kid. I used to try to hear the ocean in it.

Day 103: Love ya like a sister

My sister Rachael let me practice my photography on her. I think these turned out pretty well. Constructive cristicism welcome.

Day 99: Mr. Brown Can Moo. . .

Can You?

Yes, I selective coloured this. Yes, I'm aware that that's taboo. Yes, I'm also aware that I accidentally greyed out a bit of the bottom of the book. No, I don't care lol. I don't know why, but when I took this photo this is how I saw it in my head, and I can't say it looks as cool on screen as it did in my brain, but I had to try it.
