Day 73: Shutterspeed

Today I was practicing shutter speed. Some of the photos came out totally black because the shutter speed was too low and I was shooting in bad light. I managed to find the perfect speed for taking pictures of a Moses. He is always moving, so I found the right shutterspeed to freeze his action so the photos don't blur. (1/250, in case you're interested).



I also took the black and white photos in black and white mode on my camera, instead of taking them in colour and converting them to black and white. I actually think some of these would have looked better in colour, but you can't convert from black and white to colour. I'm really just trying to learn how to use my camera, though, so at least I know how to set it to black and white now.
