Edit My Pics Challenge

Today I'm participating in an Edit My Pics Challenge on my photography board. This photo was already great, but I thought I'd give improving it a shot. I didn't do anything dramatic because it didn't need it.

Here's What I did:

I used the smudge tool to blend that spot on the curtain in.
I used the clone tool to remove whatever that black thing was from the background.
I used curves to lighten it a bit (even though I like shadow like that) so that the shadows wouldn't be quite as dramatic, though I'm not sure I prefer how that came out.
And I ran an unsharp mask.
